Actionscript 3 and new game development

This week i started Developing a new Flash Game in the brand new latest version of Actionscript (Actionscript 3) I normally write flash games and the likes in Actionscript 1 or 2 but as the new version of actionscript has completely changed I thought i’d give it a whirl, afterall..I have to keep up with the Joneses don’t I?

After initial hair pulling and episodes of screaming at my pc for the last few weeks (and a few sulking episodes) I am finally beginning to get the hang of it… HURRAH!! 

 The new game in question is as of yet Untitled but it is a scrolling sniping affair where you have to shoot the baddies in the apartment buildings while trying to dodge their bullets while trying not to shoot innocent passers by…although I am having thoughts of turning it into an old western shootout hehehehe!

So how far have i got? Well see for yourself, you do need to have the latest Flash Player (9) installed onto your computer before you can experiece it:
